Edge writing project starts/fall 2008
The writing project “Performance and writing through the Edge (of Europe), focused on performance writing, artistic writing and performance journalism, starts during fall 2008. The project is run by Kiasma Theatre and is created and coordinated by Maija Hirvanen. Edge has other collaborators too, of which there will be more detailed information available soon.
Edge arranges meetings of practitioners, presentations and performance events. It also produces writings for several different contexts. The activities of Edge can be followed through a web site (also, more detailed information soon).
The first encounter of practitioners takes place at Kiasma Theatre during /theatre.now -festival, 9th-11th October 2008. It consists of a lab and a open, performative presentation. Audience and interested are warmly welcomed. For more info, please contact Maija: maija(at)hirvanen.net +358503557176
